Advantage Pest Solutions LLC formerly Advantage Termite & Pest Control was started in September of 1999 by Marcel Deshaies with some very specific goals in mind. Marcel saw that the pest control industry had some very bad flaws, one being toxic chemicals seemed to be the norm, Two it was very inconvenient for customers to sit and wait for there pest control companies to get to there home to come inside and spray toxic chemicals all over there baseboards once a month. so health concerns, convenience and efficiency of service were the main issues.
Marcel set out with specific goals, inside of the structures treated the products used must be ultra low in toxicity. the frequency of visits must be decreased to cut down on the customers waiting for technisions, and the service must eliminate the pest that live inside the structures. The research Marcel found was amazing, what he found was most bugs that live inside structures reside inside the wall voides. Spraying the baseboards with repelants simply repells the bugs back into these voids creating an out of site out of mind mentality. This is the reason the treatment would have to be treated on a monthly basis. Most pest control sprays lasted approx. one month. Another interesting thing Marcel found was that most of the insects invading structures come from the outside of the building.
So why not treat inside the wall voids and perform a one time low toxic spray in specific areas and spray a barrier on the ouside of the structure. Marcel found low toxicity products that last outside and are wheather resistant for a period of 3 months allowing for a quarterly pest control service. The resulting service was a one time interior pest service that eliminates the bugs on the interior of your home and a quarterly exterior pest control service that keeps the bugs out once this is completed. These services were completed on , customers in 1999 by Advantage Pest Solutions and those customers are still completely happy not having to wait for there bug guys to come and soak down there baseboards once a month.
